Live Stoner Chat HEY GUYs, im extremely happy i found you guys!

I was thinking of having my grow in my shed outside, its fully insulated however we have pretty bad winters here. Do you think I should get something more insulated than a tent because of the temperature in the winter? But then what about the hot summers? Will I have to be concerned about too high temps in my grow cab? hmmm

Hey guys sorry for being so needy but I like to be completely informed before I venture into anything so I mitigate all surprises! I just watched The Basic Guide to Autoflower Cannabis Growing by Dr.Autoflower on Youtube, I have a few(alot lol) topics I'd like your experienced opinions on! Thanks again!

1. What kind of water should I use to water my plants? from the hose? tap? distilled?
a. How do I manage ph levels and what should those levels be? What are the max and min levels?

2. How high should i have my lights from the canopy?
a. How many inches and at what stages?

3. When should i begin LSTing and/or Scrog?

4. What are the max and minimum temperatures my grow cab should be?

5. When do i begin feeding nutes, how much and what kind?

6. Should i prune bottom branches, leaves, or buds alone like a regular photo plant?
a. If i should prune, at what stages? Will that stunt the growth?

7. Im going to go with LED Lights for spectrum and efficiency purposes, how much wattage is optimal?

8. What is cal-mag and how do i prevent developing a deficiency?

9. What colors should i be looking for with respect to trichomes, when its time to harvest?
a. Does the color effect the high?

AGAIN THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!

I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't take it that way, but all the questions you are asking, the answers are all over this site! Most of them even have threads devoted to them. The reason I am saying this is because if you take the time to look for the answer, you will do a lot of learning in the process, and the answer you had to look for will probably stick in your head. I'll answer a few of your questions, but will let you do the research for the other answers, unless someone decides to provide them for you. You can use tap water, but it's usually a good idea to let it set, uncovered, overnight, so things like chlorine dissolve. You can manage pH levels in your feed with solutions called pH up and pH down. You can monitor with a soil pH monitor, and a pH tester for the solution. There is a thread on the life of an auto flower that is very informative, and is a great guide for when to harvest.

:kusht: That's what I'm talking about! Put in some work, bro, and, trust me, it will show in your grows! January 1st, some of us are planning on having a grow-off, and the strain will be Blue AutoMazar. Plant your bean before too long and you'll have time to use your first grow as a practice run to get your skills upon for the competition. Just a little heads up in case you might be interested...
