Grow Mediums Hi all this is my first AF grow.

Ok added nutes back today. I will let go for another week or so.
You don't really need the nutes at this point. You can keep up the PK but cut out any Nitrogen so you plants can use up the reserves in the leaves. That is when your leaves will start to change. I've made the mistake of running nutes all the way to flush and still not getting leaf color change.
Mu bloom nutes have about 2% Nitrogen. I can pick up a bloom booster that has only K and P in it but this late in the grow I don't really see the reason for it. I will discontinue nutes today. I think they sucked up enough to bring them to the end.
OK My roots are terrible! I know why my plants look like they do. I am buying whatever it takes to keep my roots healthy all the way through the next grow. I hope I am right in saying this but roots are everything. Crappy roots= Crappy small buds. Am I right? At least I know what I need to do for the next grow. My roots are really brown, they don't smell bad but pieces keep falling off during the flush I am doing now. ROOTS ROOTS ROOTS! Keep them clean and healthy and you will have happy health plants. Not like my first grow. The quality is there but not the quantity.
OK harvested plant #3 or my second Bubblelicious. The leaves were all yellow. I have 1 more to harvest (Jock Horror) in about 10-14 more days. It is flushing but still really green. Here are a couple of today's harvest. That's my dog in the background. It is hanging in a dark cool closet on hangers now. Smoke report is PRIMO!! Great smoke!
Hey sabreman. Is your name a reference to the nhl team.....if so tough break ull need all the weed u can smoke this season. Great journal and finish for a first grow. Your dwc setup was genius with that tote but i guess uve seen first hand how those plants can grow. When chopping, put your plants in a place thats dark and relatively dry about 30%rh. There is a great sticky i refer to in the harvesting section here, pretty much the bible. As for the roots, not to much to do now about it cause ull be chopping but watch for mould from this point on hence the dry room. Check daily or even twice to make sure they are ok. Provide plenty of airflow during drying. Happy smoking and good luck with the sabres.

I found out my problem. Fricking Gnats!!!! I can't believe how much those little bastards can mess up your roots. Anyway my last plant is still flushing believe it or not no nutes for 10 days and the fan leaves are just starting to yellow. The plant is 92 days old today and I read that Jock Horror Autos take about 110 days to finish. It is a sativa so it makes sense. Here are a couple of pics.
Yes I have the original logo tattooed on my right shoulder. I am from Buffalo and will stick by this team forever! They finally are playing better but that's only cause Nolan has them playing a good system for this team. Don't get me wrong we suck but watch out!! Our time is coming!!! BTW The Bubblelicious is so DELICIOUS!! IT is a flavor like I have never tasted in any other smoke I have smoked. It is just smoking candy! Yes it has a bubble gum sweet taste like no other and the high is awesome!!
OK Harvest Day for the last one. This by far was my best plant. Jock Horror is a great plant and the smoke is superb. Thank you all for the advice and knowledge you shared with me. I am so grateful for the AFN and it's members. Thank you all again! My second grow is going really bad. I found out I have fungal gnats! They killed my roots and my seedlings. I am gonna have to start 2 more. I am gonna do purple kush autos. I will update my second grow journal in the next few days.
