Live Stoner Chat Hi From The New Guy- ✌

Something to keep in mind with that driver is it's a constant voltage driver at 42v and it produces 3600mA. Whatever you wire to it should be in parallel, splitting up the mA. Typically the drivers we are using for DIY builds are constant current drivers. So the difference being HLG-150H-1400A (constant current) HLG-150H-42A (constant voltage). But for sure there is a workable option for you @budelee I just don't know what it is yet. @BigSm0 I'm taggin' you in on this one, what would you do with this constant voltage driver HLG-150H-42A?

Sry mang.. i didnt mean any disrespect. A second opinion never hurts and since ( like i said) im not techy , if you said go a different direction, i would have considered it!! It all comes down to money ( a whole separate issue). But i will get them built someday..peace

Always good to get second opinions. 3-citizen 1212's would be the best and just about the only opinion besides going into more expensive cobs. The cities are doing well for you so I'd keep em going.

@Senseimillan great reply. Cc drivers are ideal but cv drivers are also very popular based on price. I like them as they are the most universal because there isn't really a set amperage number. You can always add cobs and subtract the amperage to each cob. Great for folks on a budget. For isntance you can start with less cobs and add more down the road to increase the efficiency as budget permits. You can also make just about any wattage you want. Cc drivers are limited to 700,1050,1400, and 2100ma while cv drivers can be just about any wattage based on the cob total.

Hey @BigSm0 .. should i show it ?? Okay.. heres the DIY that biggie helped me piece together.. i call it Cobasaurus Rex... the 1212 lamps would be supplemental lighting
