Live Stoner Chat High CBD / Low THC strains for experimental medicinal use?

Hi tokers! Just wondering what the best medicinal strains are primarily for releife of arthritic pain and joint pain? The person i have in mind to test it out on doesn't like to get high(freaks them out) so i need something that won't get them high. As far as i understand CBD doesn't get you high but has the majority of the health improving properties of cannabis are attributed to it so im wondering what are the best strains for this type of thing? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi 420ing You might want to check into the CBD Crew strains, which are stocked at Attutude and Seedman and I'm sure other banks. Dutch Passion has a few strains that they bred with the Crew's collaboration, too. CBD Skunk Haze is a highlight from DP. There are several mostly CBD strains as well, though I have no personal experience with them- Charlotte's Web, Harlequin, and Cannatonic come to mind. As soon as the DP test strain that I'm running is finished, it is likely to have a really high and equal ratio- around 13% THC/13%CBD- I cannot WAIT to make tinctures and edibles from that strain! Unfortunately, it has some issues that need to be worked through before its ready for public issue....

I would check out sin city seeds cbd strain called thunderstruck It's bad ass. Like 16 to 20% cbd and 1 to 3 % thc.

That sounds very interesting due to the very low amount of THC present compared to CBD. Im planning on adding in a high CBD strain to my future grows making it into cannabutter for food and seeing what the benefits are. I have a relative with bad arthritic joint pains and im hoping i can give them something to help but wont get them high as it makes them all paranoid lol.Cheers!

I just got some med gom seeds and havent grown for awhile, thought these are cool they were autoflower and it saves me space and light/energy, so far its been a strong healthy looking sprout with easy germination. inside for winter, i got some collodial silver water so i could make fem seeds. Hoping its a good cbd strain to start, i think the low thc variaties have so much potential in the economy being non intoxicating. Fiber, food, fuel, shelter...etc. Make some sodas, brew some beers, grow some grass, feed the land, build our future. Lots to do and grow, take care yallz.
