Greetings AFNers, about to start 2nd grow, going with SAD, Pakistan Ryder, Snowstorm 2 and a Hobbit. looking at Kannabia's website it says the best lighting regime for the Hobbit is 12-12, 14-10, or 16-10? and that to get it flower under anything over 16 hours you may have to put it in a dark period for 24 hours? I know some of you on here have grown the Hobbit with great success and from the smoke reports i've read it seemed to autoflower ok, but i was just wondering if anyone had any trouble with it on a 20-4 or 18-6 light schedule?

The above link shows a hobbit i did. I strongly suggest 3 gallon pots and a 20/4 light cycle.I have experience with kannabia seeds. They all like 20/4 for max performance. Not sure why they say to go 12/12?
You will love the hobbit, i have 2 i just started. Sweet berry smell and taste.Hints of strawberry which is stronger in some pheno's! will be ready in 65-70 days with proper light!

Thanks midman4u, I read your post about Hobbits a few weeks back and that is what inspired me to give it a try, Thanks for reassurance about light schedule, i'll be using 20-4 mostly possibly dropping to 18-6 if i hit temp problems. Growing in a DR60II so 3 gallon pots are too big for me, my last grow i used 4 6.5l square pots, i've just bought 2 x7.5l round pots and am surprised how much bigger they are i'll probably drop the Hobbit in one of those, although again the Kannabia site reccomends no bigger than 4l pots for indoor growing? but seeing your excellent results i'll go with the bigger pot. What was she like nute wise midman? i'll be using plant magic supreme soil, i've added some bat guano so thinking they won't need much more than water for a few weeks?

If i am correct she had no problems with 1/4 strength nutes @ day 20. I increased the amount weekly till i was at full strength.I didnt have any nute burn and she was not under feed.I was using a standard fertilizer Bonnie herb and veg. food.

Rebel on here has grown Hobbit and Dubv is growing her now they would answer any questions ya got! I'm throwing this in dirt as soon as they bk in stock! Ginger ale x ruddy

Kannabia Seeds -Hobbit Among the great variety of commercial mothers available, we have rescued the Ginger Ale variety-for the general public: A real legend among American cannabis breeders due to its exact proportion between Haze and Cinderella 88. This variety combined with the best of the autoflowering spirit results in a very resistant variety to both plagues and fungi. Very productive and with the sweet flavour of strawberry candy. And it only needs 65 days of flowering from seed.

This variety taste goes far beyond any other autoflowering in the market, with a really sweet smell and flavour. So sweet that you should use powerful odour filters from early flowering stages indoors. This variety boosts flowering in side branches providing an extra percentage in production. Indoors, you can grow in 18 hour photoperiods without any problem. Outdoors we suggest March to October planting.

For an optimum result, plant in over 7 litre pots.

Actually, once you have Hobbit in your hands you will be able to say: My Precious!!

Photoperiod: 18-20 hours Harvest time: 65 days from seeds Medium height: 50-60cm Production: 20 -25 gr./plant To plant from: April - September Medium height: 60 - 90 cm Production: 30 - 60 gr/plant THC: -15%

Thanks gotgreen, and thanks midman4u for the nute advice, looking forward to some strawberry goodness!
