I came across this as a complete accident. I sometimes like a longer hose so I bought enough hose that I could tie it in an overhand knot. I noticed in the belly of the knot there was a small amount of oil accumulating after a few days of smoking through the vape. Collect the oil is easy, simply remove the end of the hose and drape the end into a suitable container and let it drop out. I recently collected enough oil for 15 rolling papers. Oil is light amber in colour and totally reminds me of real honey oil. Papers are see through when applied.

Absolutely I would say yes it had a effect. I don't smoke tobacco in oil joints, but I did add just enough bud and smoked a couple of pinners. Did the job absolutely.

I have sublimator which has a collection pot that screws off. I have a couple of grams of oil harvested this way, its pretty strong stuff. I dab it on the sub, turned up a bit higher.

Reclaim isn't as strong as something like bho or qiso and the flavour is a lot less terpy. But it does the job and is almost free.

This is about half a g of reclaim out of the sublimator.

It looks a bit dark when it's in a lump, but more honey like when spread thinner.

I've got a jar of iso that I drop various vape parts into, when it gets really dark I evaporate it off and get a fair harvest there.

Weird...the oil I get out of my Arizer Xtreme Q hose looks very different than that:

I keep it in the fridge. Makes it easier to handle.

At room temp it's a lot more viscous.

The oil I get via the iso is much runnier.

The stuff from the sublimator probably has a little bit of solid matter that may get through the screen from the herb chamber.

I'll get a shot of some fresh stuff when it builds up.

Your oil looks really liquid.

Ahh okay makes sense now. The viscosity of the oil in the pic would be something like corn syrup at room temp.

This is the oil collecting in the erm...oil collection thing. (Contaminated by my wife not noticing she'd emptied the screen out with abv!)

It takes a couple of weeks for the atomiser to get covered in oil before it starts to accumulate in the erm......accumulator.

The longer since it was cleaned, the quicker it fills with oil.

With a little tweeking this could be a way of extracting oil, as when the sublimator is really in need of a clean I get maybe a gram and a half of oil per oz I put through it.

Nice...thanks for the follow up. I like the fact that as you smoke, this is just an unaccounted bonus. Sweet deal. Tell you what...honey oil, bubble hash and bud in a joint = A 4 person thrashing
