Hey Guys,
I know, 36 inches minimum...supposedly. I have that, and more, but it seems as if it is not as bright as my plain old 1000w HPS that I had just taken down minutes before. I held my hand under it, as you do with plain HPS and I could hold my hand at 24 inches indefinitely. Is it not as physically hot normally? Should I REALLY keep it at least 36 inches above the canopy?
