Lighting How many cobs?

Well, it's kinda too late for that haha. Already got 5, all on day 25.

Might as well ask something about them now that this thread seems active.

IF I need to kill some of them, which one should I keep if I want a high that's energetic?
If anyone got any experience with them that is.

Euforia
Auto extreme
Og glueberry

Some how I missed the fact that these were already up and growing. Heck, if they are 25 days old I would not kill them but rather finish them. Might as well put them all in that tent, top them if you haven’t already, LST the heck out of them, keep them small before the stretch and you should be able to grow them out. I have not grow any of these strains, but I am pretty sure I know a grower that did both the Euforia and Auto Extreme in a grow room and they were monsters. He called the Euforia the largest Auto he had ever grown. You will have your work cut out for you and lots of issues between now and harvest, especially with five strains with different needs. If you haven’t already, I would start a journal here and update as often as your u can.

Found a pic of the Euforia. You can find the entire grow on YouTube. I’m pretty sure that’s a 4 gallon pot.

Yeah I'll try to manage them.
By the way, when is the stretch?
At the moment they are kinda small, but when do autos usually "take off"?

Hi!
So, first things first..
My settings :

Tent 4x2x5
5 x 3 gallon air pots with soil
My current lights: 1 x 250w hps and 1 Mars hydro reflector 48

I'm in the process of ordering auto cobs, but I'm not sure how many I need.
As it's getting hotter outside I need to replace the hps. I'm planning on keeping the mars until it breaks down on me.

How many cobs do I need?
My first plan was to put the Mars in the middle and one cob each on the sides.
But is that to much light maybe?
Will one cob plus the Mars be enough?

One of my tents is this size and I have 3 COBs in there, Ive read another user on here having 4 in the same space.
You might need to tie them down because they could get too tall for that space

Usually a week or two after they show sex.

So my plants are at day 36 and still feel kinda small. (will post a picture when my autocobs are up)
Don't think they will be anywhere near that big euforia you posted.
They do look healthy though.
But personally, I'm by no means experienced, I think they are small because of the amount of light they're NOT getting.
250w and the Mars just isn't enough.
But of course I could be wrong. Especially if they continue to grow all through the 77ish days.
But as far as I understood autos stop growing when flowering starts.
And it's week 6 now so that's not to far away.

Is it worth it to use my mars 48 reflector at all together with the 2 autocobs?
Maybe it's just a waste of electricity or the Mars adds something with its blurple (?) light.
I'll still be using my 250w dual spectrum hps during about 2/3 of the day because of the heat it brings.

With autos I’ve always followed @Hansbrick’s advice to keep feeding veg nutes for the first couple weeks of flower because they grow so much during that time. He would switch to flower nutrients when the stretch came to an end. And he grew some monster autos.

While I do believe now that there is such a thing as too much light. I don’t think your mars running with your autocobs will hurt anything. Especially, if you can angle & use it for side lighting just watch for light/heat stress. Would be nice to take the 250w out of the equation since that will save you watts at the wall.

Suspicious how the plant is mostly leaning to the left except for the branches closest to the girl, which are leaning towards her. "Sister Power" maybe.

You would have to ask @GrowPotCheaply as that was his plant and his lady. :smoking: She does some pretty good smoke reports on YouTube.
