is there a point where the organic nutrients can burn from too much food being converted or something? I like to amnend my pots with it in the beginning at 1tbsp/g when I mix up my soil, and either topdress it or water it in 1-2x /week. I'm not having issues related per say- just curious. I know the owner Scotty real says you can't use too much, but let's be real (no pun intended lmao)he also makes it lmao. Of course he's gonna want people to use more. Anybody have experience or done any controlled experiments with it?????

Works well in a Tea.I like a Tea Drench for Veg/Trans/Bloom what have ya. . . I have not done any real experiments really but used about as much as you maybe a tick more. I well round TBspns when dealing with a largely dry molasses WP(wettable Powder) but never really top dressed. I would mix it in a top dressing over just sprinkle it on top personally. its a WETTABLE powder. needs moisture. but ya I dont see why it would hurt much, especially if your soil is in good standing. I never had a problem, works nicely in a Tea with another additive WP or so.

Thanks for the insight eof. I was curious about adding it to my teas. I don't have a brewer or an air pump yet, but I do steep compost and ewc in a bucket with distilled water. Still gets a little bubbles/frothy after a day or so. I've heard of you do add it to your teas to do it after the brew, is that correct in your experience @Eyes on Fire ?

I'd presume ReCharge will work much better, if you just regularly added it to your feed water.

A single dose, even a high one, will have limited potency with time, likely rather quickly. Isn't ReCharge dried/preserved bacteria (or spores) with some kelp, molasses and few other nutrient additives?. All these nutrients will break down relatively rapidly; and bacteria rapidly turnover/die, mutate/evolve, etc. The bacteria are the main reason to use ReCharge. From basic microbiology, repeated dosing, even if on the low side, is much better at maintaining high concentrations/colonies/infections of introduced living bacteria in the medium/soil than a single dose and expecting that to last.

Thats exactly right. especially as I mentioned your Soil life and batch is on point. minimal additions are needed. and its wasteful in the regard IMO. But most look for the best way(s) to use this and other products. fact is ,ALL these methods work well with a decent soil mix. I would add it WHILE brewing and to the soil when mixing it initially. that how I like it and do need to go over board. and you can even extend it further like I do nowadays with a good planting mix. THEN, add it to feed water,Top dressing(s) or a mellow initial addition to the mix prior to planting. after that its wasteful like BII mentions.

Also, if your soil is weak, you could tip the balance and actually make it less effective ,by inundating it with a single type(s) of microbes. you need more than one or two.Plus bacterial additions and fungal additions. there is a lot to look at generally when saying it'll do this n that to a soil. generally a good thing but again it could do bad or just be plain wasteful and the stuff is a lil pricey. so just use in a top dressing and a TEA or watering here n there. dont need to go crazy.
