I know that I am supposed to let my soil sits on 30 days but I was also told to stir it 7 days after I first started mixing it. Should I continue to mix it every 7 days or was once good enough? Below is the mixture that I used.

1 pack of the 2.1 (5 LB) master mix

6 to 7 gallons of coco coir

6 to 7 gallons of soil

5 gallons of castings

5 gallons of perlite.

Mix a few times a week, maybe even every other day so everything can breathe. You don't want to encourage the anaerobic bacteria with the suffocated area under the pile. You will probably need to mix in water periodically as well and keep the pile moist as it cooks along.

with this mix its pretty easy if it passed the squeeze test and is in a tote.if so,well you mix it initally of course, then after right about a week you mix it thoroughly ,all the way to the bottom and mix it well.then let it sit for the 30 days and then you pot them up and sow your beans.cal mag and water every other watering and alternated with plain non PH'd water.clean water of course and thats that. you could add a fistful of white rice when you mix it too,but thats not necessary.

in between the second mix and letting it sit for 30 days you could mix it once right in the middle of that time,OR you could just do a simple stir of the soil twice.just initally for breathing of the soil and checking the moisture content. usually you wont have to add water at all once passed the moisture test in a tote.

Do be sure to check moisture content after it sits a while, get right to the bottom and if you can squeeze out water stir it up. Good luck man.
