Lighting Hps and LEDs

Has anybody experience of using both LED's and hps together ? I have an old 180w ufo Mars hydro I was thinking of adding to my 600w hps setup.

You can use your LED for side lightning.

i have some cind of led panel 12x3w it says, with 6000K. where would you suggest to place it?!
thought if i place it on the left/right side the plant wont go in that direction?! (sorry if the question is stupid lol )

what if you put them side by side? led and hps..

You can use them for side lighting and either hang them vertically (if possible) and drop it on the side of the plant. You have one so you can drop it down on the side and then move it over to the other side every other day. I would just put it on the floor and when you move your plants in a 180 everyday then they will cover the lower parts. I have a 600 watt hps and for my next grow I will be dropping two mars hydro 300w on each side of the 600 so I get full coverage throughout the tent.
