Okay i've read a few articles/posts and the general consensus seems to be :
1. In a grow tent or cab in an ENCLOSED room, or a room you can't open the windows in, two fans are considered best, one to pull cool air from the room through the cooltube/airhood and back into the room.
2. Most people seem to advise not pushing air through a filter and then through the cooltube/airhood as it may decrease the lifetime of the tube or hood.
I only have one exit hole and don't want the fan inside the tent so i've decided to :
a) have ducting from outside of tent going to airhood, then into Y adapter, then into extractor fan.
b) filter ducting going to Y adapter then into extractor fan.
I'll just have to get a more powerful fan (400 cubic metres per hour) to overcome the additional resistance.
Thanks for advice people, all the stuff should be delivered by middle of next week and i'll get another grow on.
Can't wait
Have a good weekend all.
