Ok! So I think that problem was overcome. Leafs regained their fiber and no more blotchs on other leafs. It was a P def, Muddy you were on point there. Thank you.

For me it's gained knowledge! I can ad a P def to my resumé now

What did you treat the P def with?

Did a small dosage of foliar with BioBloom and Bioheaven because I also suspected Mn def. After a while things seem to start recovering although the blotches still there (just less fragil and more strong). so I gave small dosage of biobloom amd bioheaven with root feed.

One or two leafs curled upward which means overfeed but it's not so bad. I have to give even lower foliar dosages next time. I'm still amazed with how low concentration of nute mixing plants really need. If I never knew better I would have probably thought that 1l of fishmix for instance would be enough for 2 grows. Eheh

So I found out yesterday I had an overfeed. Well, in reality I was having an overdose. Early in the morning I did some watering ph'd 6,5 and run-off was 5.3 and 5.5, on auto-bb and NL#5xHaze respectively. The auto is in a smaller pot which might explain a lower ph.

I immediately made a flush with my tap water (ph 7.8) until I reached runoff ph of 6.3 and 6.5 respectively. I was late to work so I wasn't able to make a calm, clean job. Instead I made use of my hose directly at each pot. I didn't had time to worry about chlorine because I'm only going to be back on Saturday. That was as quick fix as I could do.

Situation now is that the affected leaves did not recover, instead where there was those spots (oh so similar to P deficiency in the litterature) turned yellow and dried. New shoots are still healthy which is definitely good (somehow). Asked my wife to clean her up and take some pics.

What I learn from this experience and I can share with all reading is:

1 - check ph often (weekly at least);
2 - don't overfeed the children! Less is more;
3 - flush every month;
4 - use a clean soil (without added nutes).
5 - different types of N increase (nitrate) or decrease (ammonia and urea) the soil pH

That's it. Thinking I could use a ppm reader aswell...

Small update:

Plants look health(ier).

pH runoff was good with a-BB and still low at 5.8 with NL#5xHaze. Did not use dolomite lime yet but will soon enough.
Diluted feed with alot of water for both ladies: Maria and Joana.
And plenty of rest

LST and pH fix

I'm hooked on LST! I'm improving the grow and pushing the plant into new heights... this is happening while pH is off and I'm having a cal/mag deficiency (both are common with acidic soils).

Ca strengthens plant cell walls and therefore stems, stalks, and branches, and it aids in root growth.
Mg helps support healthy veins and maintains leaf production and structure. It’s required for chlorophyll production and enzyme breakdowns.

I've reached the side of the pot and next string I attach her will start the circular motion around the pot.

That's that for LST, now for pH... Unfortunately I didn't find dolomite lime or hydrated lime. So, I'm going to correct the pH with the water feeds. It will take longer, but I have time. To supply my NL#5xHaze with the N, the Ca and the Mg she needs right now I bought a bottle of Cal/Mag Veg from Advanced Nutrients because they are chelated (they are absorvable at bigger pH ranges and that's why I think AN is good).

NEWS FLASH: The auto-BB didn't auto! The poor thing crumbled against the cold and light issues I had. She got stunted... I don't think Dutch Passion is to blame. This things can happen. I have two more seeds and I'm going to plant them some time soon.

My auto-BB showed sex!! I'm so surprised! She's at day 40ish... I had already given up on her! That just goes to show me! The little White pistils showed up on the main shoot! Oh happy days
