hi all just a quick post to say a big thanks to muddy for putting me on to using hydrated lime as a solution to my soil problems. After adding 1tbs of hydrated lime in a gallon of water and feeding my plant with half the solution my plant is once again thriving and the soil ph has risen to just below 6 after being in the low 4s. as advised this isnt something you want to do more than once as it will cause root damage but as a one of fix i would definetly recommend if like me you have acidic soil problems.

You're very welcome. Thanks for letting us know it helped your plant.
