Hey folks just thought I would pose a question or questions about hydrogen peroxide. I just by chance ended up reading a bit about peroxide last night. If I am to believe what I read, peroxide is some kind of miracle juice! (. I know this isn't new news but kinda of news to me ). What I didn't read is clear guidelines for use eg. Use with every watering, occasional use, or only if a problem is detected, etc. I did use peroxide to remove some mold after harvesting my last plant and it worked well, I just seemed to miss the watering part. So, what's the general opinion?
Thanks for the input in advance.

I've read that if used correctly it can increase the oxygen levels in your feed water (I forget what the exact ratio of HP to H2O should be). On the other hand, I believe it can kill the microherd in your soil if you have one.

I've used it to get rid of fungas gnat larvae but every now and then say once every 2 weeks I put abit into the water for my plants....they seem to love it

great for chemical grows but it will kill all bacteria in the medium. i like how it bubbles in the soil totally puffing it up increasing air. it's good stuff for disinfecting used containers and systems it breaks down to water pretty fast but don't get it in your eyes. it's great for cleaning around the house too.

I took the crux of the info to say that it was most beneficial for the root zone due to how the water molecules were displaced. I saw varying recommendations as to how much to use depending on the strength of the peroxide. I believe the dose for common "drugstore"peroxide ( 3.5 % ) was 10cc/liter of fluid

When say bacteria in medium, do you mean even beneficial micro bacteria?

thats what I meant in my post and pretty sure this guy means the same. And is why I don't use it.

i used it until i switched to organics. i don't know if beneficial bacteria will die before or after the bad bacteria and organisms but i only saw improvement when using it. i used it at about .5 percent concentration once weekly.

It can save u from gnats and keep plant going through a nute lock out.
