What's going on here?

Feeding my outdoor plants biotabs Guerilla Tabs and Guerilla Juice (first dose yesterday) according to the manufacturers description.

Over the last few days necrotic spots have developed on the fan leaves (Ca/Mg issue?) and the new growth is very pale.

:eek1: Dr.B', in the Infirmary?! ....how's it going mate? :pass:

... the tops are looking like early Fe or Zn defc. my friend,.. it must be determined if it's simple lack-of, or an off-pH issue,...if the soil is near or above 7.0, then it's likely a lock-out issue,... if not, you'll need a micronutrient supplement of some kind,... I know you're overseas, so what you can get is the challenge! Fe and Zn are immoblie nutes, and stubborn to correct,..foliar is by far the best, but treat soil anyway,... How's your water pH and ppm's/EC?
the other necrotic patches, I'm not sure about,.. they don't fit any one defc. well, maybe Ca defc.,... I think the G-juice is the same as Orgatrex, and I'm not sure that has what you need in it,... how long has the plant been in with the tabs?

:smoking:BTW, I just transplanted the little ones today into final Biotabs loaded pots! :woohoo1:.... Atomic is robust!

Yeah...I'm here.
Never seen those symptomes.
Tried biotabs Guerilla Tabs and plain water. Never again!
Another plant is growing like crazy on Vertafort organic nutrition and plain water.

I have beein using a foliar spray the last few days.
Yesterday I started chemical nutes @ pH 5.8.

After the weekend I hope to have an Atomic update. Atomic is fed a mix of chemical fert. plugs and the Guerilla tabs. Seeing my Zenseed plants on those organic tabs and knowing Atomic get the same, gives me bad sleep.

@Slowmo

@Dr. Babnik my guerilla girls are doing just fine and they dont even get any juice ...

but their soil was ammended with compost...

i remember @Biotabs F69 talk about organic soil, becomming much less active when temp drop below 15c..

maybe he would like to chime in here :pass:

Just sprayed with Boom Boom Spray. Will water with micro nutrients and the snake oil Superthrive later at low pH. I have some snake oils I need to use up.

Thank you very much, @Waira!

Low pH water with micronutrients and the foliar sprays Rocket Fuel (a kind gift from Big Plant Science) and Boom Boom spray (a kind gift from Biotabs) did the trick! I've been away for 36 hrs and the new leaves are lushing green and only yellow edges on the second oldest set of leaves.

The fancy organic idea is canned and I stick to good, old fashion chemical nutes.

:pass: excellent! That's the sign you're looking for, halting and improvement first with newest growth! Keep on the occasional spray my friend, soil dosing too- :coffee:
Superthrive-- snake oil??! :yoinks: Dr.B, you wound me to the quick! what prompts you to say so? I do know they have changed the formulation fairly recently, to comply with new standards,...Mostly it's very conc. B1, but there's lots of other things too... I can say IMO Superthrive is fine stuff,.. we used it at the orchid nursery (boss used it since the '70's) to very good effect on shocked, hurting plants, new imports hammered from abuse, rootless rot victims, etc,... I know there's been a lot of barking over this product, but empirically, with my own eyes, I have seen how well it works,... Another great product , similar is Grow More Jump Start,...

The writings on the product are diverse. Nice to hear an expert praise it. With such stuff, I think empirical observations are of more value than theoretical discussions. The snake part is B1, which is a myth according to the scholars of botany and plant physiology. It is a complex cocktail and in biology, the phenomena of synergistic and additive effects are well known when certain chemcals and stimuli are combined.

And ofcourse, since I applied all my tools at once, I cannot know which "drug" or combination was working.

I'll keep water pH around 5.8 and feed Micro Power regularly.
