How should I go about burping if my jars read a stable 63% after 5 hours of curing?

I've read many an opinion.. should I be burping once a day for 5 minutes until it's down to 55%?

Leave your buds in the jar sealed for longer than 5 hours..The humidity will rise, then go from there..I usually burp twice a day the first week..once every other day by the second week and the humidity will gradually stabilize..By the third week I'm opening maybe once for that week then when I get around my target range I seal it and put it away..Slowly decreasing the humidity is the best..The % will drop and rise as the bud sweats and distributes moisture from the stem to the flower.I go by anything 70% and above needs some more drying time but not long.

Thanks.. I'll check after 12+ hours of seal.. but I have a feeling they are steady and stable at 63% (after 8 hours). I don't want to over do burping because they got jarred at basically the perfect RH.

I have used Boveda humidity packs for a long time and only burp once per day. Previously, I think I burped at least two or three times without Boveda.

So you pop the bovedas in when you start the jarring/cure? I was putting them in after they settled at 62 after burping for a few days.

Presuming you reach a steady state (humidity stays same after hours/days tightly sealed) at your desired humidity, there is no further need to 'burb' or add new fresh air that will likely be either drier or moister than what you want, particularly if using Boveda 63% and that is your target, with 63% a good level for further curing). Once stable, just check, and maybe 'burb' or allow some air exchange, perhaps once a week to follow progress with curing, which really only starts after the drying process.
