sounds like loss from shipping stress, its common. and it can take up to a week for the to get active again. If you have a spot that seems particularly bad, just scoop it out. give them just a small amount of food in one corner. Wait a few days, see if they ate it. Move your feed spot down a bit each time your feed, this gets them to move thru all the bedding.

Make sure not to feed them any citrus or other ascorbic fruits. When you do feed them it's a good idea to shred all the food scraps up as small as possible. It's much easier for the worms to eat the small bits than work at the big stuff. Never over-water. Keep it slightly moist, but never wet. If you can pick up a handful of substrate, squeeze it, and have water run out through you fingers it is too wet. Like everyone else said, layer, layer, layer, and don't over-feed!

Worm farms are an EXCELLENT way to get rid of cannabis leaves and scraps. Police do not need a warrant to go through your garbage, but they do need one to look in compost/worm bins. That and you're reducing your waste cycle. You can shred the stems and feed them to the worms as well.
