not really, I let mine go longer than most, you'd be surprised how much longer it takes for trichs to turn amber. I wait until really matured, and all leafs have yellowed out or turned colors. trichs are mostly cloudy still few amber, but the clear is all gone, and the weight is greatly increased with resin and smoking the flowers last twice as long and provide "heavy smoke"
you could harvest that "early" one and focus more on the others and let them ride it out. give ya some fresh smoke, it satisfies the waiting game.
