I think one of my plants is a photo and when will it branch out?

I have two plants I have grown from seed in soil they were labeled Northern Lights Auto from Seedsman.
One of them seems to be on track she started flowering and growing branches. The other one is not growing branches and has much larger leaves. I have done LST on both plants and I topped the one I think is a photo.
The sprouted on 12/21 so that makes them 40 days old today.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the plant that hasn’t started flowering or showing gender is a photo and advise on why it hasn’t grown any branches yet?

well that is a strange one no side branching at all dosnt even look like there are branches forming never seen it before ?

Well actually there are no branches at all! I did pull it over to the side and tie it with the bendy wire, I was going to try to train it to grow the main stem around the perimeter of the pot

Thats a mutation of some sort. I can't say that there is a way to trigger side branching. Even if it were a photo period plant, flipping it to a 12/12 light schedule would induce flower and stretch.. But not necessarily side branching. Especially since there isn't even a sign of side branching.

To me it looks like a bushy Male!?!?! Any males I've had have always grown tall but the nodes did look the same as yours! The stipules are there, but this occurs on both Male and female so until a pre flower starts to grow out you wont really know!
Fingers crossed it not a hermie!!

Thank you guys for your input

I topped her a few days ago. But I wonder if that was a bad idea because she didn’t have any branches.... hopefully she will branch out and flower! I’m just going to treat it like a female photoperiod unless she acts otherwise. I never give up!
