Grow Room I wanna grow my plants small

I wanna start off with two feet and then gradually work my way up foot by foot. I know I'm on here everyday but you guys really give me good advice.

2 foot is already a reasonable size when it comes to autos, depending on your setup obviously. if your issue is holding plants back you may try LST or even smaller pots:smokebuds:

saw your pm before i saw this, but for the benifit of any new grower reading this....... LST, Low Stress Training involves tying down your plant in order to achieve more access to your light source, to keep your plant's canopy even, to redirect auxins to your side branches to develop more even and bigger colas. try the search engine and you may well find more detail bro:smokebuds:

Is lst basically the same as a scrogg apart from your able to move the plants?

Low stress training of plants can be done using string or wire...fishing hooks [barbless] with weights attached.....it's only limited by imagination and resources.

You could get smaller pots for less growth, more dark period will also decrease the overall growth but it can introduce unwanted stretching, but for the most part I would agree that LST can do miracles!

You are tying down your branches rather than tucking them under as you do in scrog. The result is the same. Small plants are best achieved by buying seeds that give small plants. The next easiest is to use undersized pots so they become root bound and thus stunted. I usually top my plants at the 4th internode. Just pinch off the top with fingernails, scissors etc. I remove just the tip, very little plant material It will then grow two main cola. This gives a shorter plant and a higher final yield. You can repeat this process to give an inverted Christmas tree shape. I have never lost a plant through this practice or seen adverse effects on their health. The objective is to finish with a flat top to the canopy allowing optimal positioning of the light.

My eldest plant is going through a lot as my first grow i messed up a whole lot with her ( she is now recovering from me over watering her) but she is still here with me. she is 5 inches tall and she is about a month old 3-15-13 but she is not an auto, my auto is almost a month old 3-26-13 and she is still tiny my third baby is younger 3-31-13 non-auto but is already bigger than my auto is something wrong in what I"m doing I have the lights in 18/6 thinking about trying 20/4. I have learned patience over this time trust me I don't want to kill them I don't have money to buy more seeds. I wanted to clone my non auto but am confused cause I thought they would get more branches but they only have one main one with leaves on them. Can somebody please help me out I can put pics up as soon as the daytime comes up.
