Thanks for showing that. I think a one week seedling is stronger then just a one day old one. The one you have there got multible small roots from the tap. I've got like one of the small ones.. we will see tomorrow if the girls is still alive. If yes, then they probably going to survive.

Yea one day old keep in paper towel or like I said soil for a week. Ill take that advice and once I get a couple top roots started ill back her off a bit

That is root rot Hydroguard can fix that and then prevent it from reoccurring.

I know what it is . im saying that's why I don't use a medium. Foreign material does make a difference in ph and it makes it easier for shit to grow in it. Im preventing problems in my grows as much as possible, considering its not gonna be my last one lol

It is very true that organics that get into a reservoir can be harmful in hydro but starting a seed in rockwool which is inert is not. You can even use rapid rooters etc. as long as the crown and rockwool or rapid rooters are allowed to dry out after the root system is down in the reservoir.

There are exceptions to this as I have used organic extracts in DWC successfully but they are way more susceptible to problems than a clean tank.

We have a touch-down, got a 1 cm tail out of one net pot... lets see now how she reacts to the nutrients. 325 ppm and ph slightly under 6. I think its pretty fast, ive seen guys wait a week, it could be a bigger size net-basket aswell.

Hydro is noticeably faster than other mediums.
