@Mañ'O'Green. I cant go 800 ppm now, they would die..... they would not be happy. Wow, man, didnt you say easy with the nutes....
I got i touch of nute-burn having them at 405ppm.. they were good at 320, so i moved back to safesty.
The covering i did today was a must as i did a rez-change in the same time, was a quickfix. I was thinking that black was not optimal but i needed to do something to protect them from light..
I found the orca in my "local" hydro-shop..

Will buy this next time i visit the shop.
Will get some duct-tape and some styrofoam and get it done in the coming days.
But im very supriced how a growing company can sell things that are made for growing, but that allows light to penetrate? Isnt light-penetration like number 1 when constructing a rdwc-system?
Light-leak and the pipe that did not fit... i think we are down to 2 stars out of 5.....
Well in their defence it is a balancing act between heat and light. Heat is worse than light and green is the best color of light if you have to have any. Truth be told if you had hydroguard in the tank the light might not be a problem because the only other thing that might grow is algae and algae is not really a problem unless you had a lot of it. Ideally no light is best.
