A question... have u guys ever had a broken tap-root? Lets say the root comes up lika lazzo and you see its split where the weight comes when lifting her up from the water? ---> q <---
Anyway, i have... , so no more lifting pots if not changing water...

I don't fu!@ with my plants so the roots never get broken.

It is looking good. no sign of nutrient burn. You can up the nutes some on next change.

You can up the nutrients to just where you get a tiny bit of burn then back of 10%. This way you know what this strain will tolerate on the top end. Then when you go into the third week of flower you can go about 10% over that top line without troubles.

About the roots... you dont check them when they are younger? If check, you just sneak then let them be? I blame it on because its my first time doing hydro, next time i know to not look so much.

Thank you, but shouldnt i fallow the ppms? If they raise i lower little, if they fall - i raise... Or should i go after how the girls are doing, and read them and just have the ppms so i know where they are happy?

Yes, go up 100 PPM at a time. Dark Green is what you want - little chlorophyll factories full speed ahead .

I am a Firm believer in not messing with the roots. This stems from my organic vegetable/flower growing.

Yes, I look at the roots without taking them out of the DWC just by tilting it up with a flashlight to verify length at start of third week when I turn off the top feed.

If you add nutrients (up the PPMs) between reservoir changes it is critical that you add them in balance. This means mixing them in a separate container before adding them to the res. With your system you should never need to lower the PPMs

I told you them roots was fine. Looking great! Nice strong growth. I take my roots out all the time and give em a nice air bath while I clean their buckets. Plus I like to take pics like this. [emoji106]

This! Why cant i mix straight in the rez? I need to know why to understand it. No high tech, but the short version. I listen closely.

This is what ive been doing :smoking:
But after today i will not play with the roots as i saw one of them had a broken tap-root. It might have been broken before i brought her up, but it could also been my mistake. The roots was twisted look a "q" and was almost conpletly off. If the girl is fine tomorrow im happy, but i will leave them alone. Ill do sneak-style in future.

Another thing.... the holes in the net pot where the roots comes out of the sides, some of them have sharp edges as they are not 100% clear from the waste-plastic when they were manufactured, ive seen roots been cut of from this. Do you know what i mean?
