Mephisto Genetics illuminautos #1,7,5,3, heisenberg x sourhound & mk ultra outdoors

Most growers over nute at first, too little is usually better than too much. Not sure how long your growing season is, but Ive had best luck outdoors planting seeds direct to soil. Those holes are HUGE, I augered a bunch of mine last year and they were 8" x 18 deep approximately and I got some nice plants in them. Also weed likes warmer soil temps to take off, where I am, near canada/us border, 2nd week in june is a bout ideal planting time to get really nice plants and get them in before it gets too cool out. Also make sure they get direct sunlight for as long as possible, id say at least 8 hours a day.

Hi @Mike_oxlong !! Welcome to AFN !
I have been growing outdoor with Mephisto for over a year and 1/2.
What i can say about auto flowers outdoors can work Ok, but they will never develop their full potential like indoors ..... and the main reason of that is the light ......... the hrs of direct sun they get its really really important. The most direct sunlight i could get on them was around 10/12 hrs a day, they give me a nice "donkey" cola, and not much more then that on the side branches. Keep the soil moist, outdoors the soil get dry pretty fast. Just before flowering, i will advice you to use some neem oil on them and spray the soil as well to keep visitors away.
Your lades look good for and outdoor, i can tell they are not getting much of direct sunlight do.
Keep the good job, feed them, and watch out for visitors every day, specially into flowering.
Good luck with them buddy !! No matter what, you are going to enjoy some great strains from the great Mephisto genetics ;)

Ya thanks, I was kind of thinking that as well. They get about 10 hrs direct a day, and I see guys that are on 20/4 and that explains the size difference. And experience growing as well obviously.. but practice makes perfect.. im thinking doing a couple photo periods next year and some autos as well.

time for another update. at day 50, all are in flower except mk ultra, still vegging, which is odd. no flowers to speak of.. all in all going well. plants are small but look healthy. chem purps is the best far and away, looks like she'll produce nicely. chem bubbly is looking great, the smell is starting to permeate when close. have to throw out some more moth balls.. toof smells nice as well. all in all, they look great. still no rain, and mid 30c temps, so been watering every few days. will add a quarter dose of flower nutes next water and see if they burn, been doing straight water the last 2 goes. also ive included some close ups of the buds this time, and a chem purp i haven't been logging, it was just such a runt i thought it wasn't worth it, but she came back so i lst'd her and she's go the purple pheno. the large one is still green at this time

as well, i'm also going to hit them with actinovate sp this week, and again in 7 days. prevention is the best medicine when it comes to botrytis. and its a bio fungicide of whatever bacteria it is, so should be ok giving them a squirt.. i figure if i can hit them now and get some of the product inside the bud before it fattens up any more, it'll curb potential botrytis problems from within.i do the same in vineyard with white grape varieties before the bunch tightens and the berries touch and it makes the difference between a full crop and dropping half on the ground because of botrytis rot from within the cluster. the humidity here is hovering at 80-90% for the last couple weeks...brutal...

One more question. I have a loup on order to check the trichomes, but roughly how far out do you guys think I am from harvest on any of these..

Update time. Day 57. Everything moving along nicely.. chem purps showing nice colour. Mk still vegging. Fed with 1/4 strength remo bloom and astroflower. All in all very happy. Enjoy the pics
