I shocked 8 auto flower plants due too transplant

O I’m having troubled germinating what do autoflowers like, high humidity, and what temperature please.

And how do you guys start them off and transplant

I just soak my seed in water for 12 to 24 hours at room temperature, then drop in a presoaked soil pot about 3/4" down lightly covered with dirt and then place humidity dome over it until it breaks ground. Room temperature about 2 to 5 days.

Sent from my comfy chair.

What medium are you using to grow out the plants? Rockwool for all hydro systems, Rapid Rooters/Root Riots for all types of soil grows. I never soak or use paper towels; just plant your seeds 1/3" to 1/2" deep (make sure your rockwool is presoaked @ PH 5.5) moisten with 25% strength nutrients. Use a seed mat to keep temperature ~78°F, run your lights on the regular schedule 18/6. Fertigate daily. As soon as the roots begin to show transplant to grow container.

i always transplant ive stunted more by the pot being to big. Im at 100% germ and have only lost one to shock this year bc i waited to long to transplant the one shes still growing but its very small. I always germ in a paper towel non-bleached in between to plates wait till the tap root in a inch long then plant in soil to where the seed is fingernail depth from surface and keep the soil damp not soaked. My daytime temp is 75-80 degrees F with humidity around 60% never lower than 50%.Night time 65-70 degrees. I always put a slight breeze on them to help sturdy the stem and make sure they have enough light to stop stetching of stem just watch out for heat stress. I transplant when i see roots coming out of the bottom holes in the cup.(around the 4 leaves mark). When You transplant let the soil dry out a little before then cut away the cup carefull not to hurt the roots every root is vital then transplant to somting double or triple the size then water right after transplant. I use a 2-2-2npk kelp extract nute to help repair and promote root growth for good measure. I only transplant once or twice tops before they get around 3-4 nodes after that its much harder to prevent shock. I strongly recomend smart pots if your trying to save money go to walmart and get their recyclable shoping bags they are about the same thing. im using them right now and the roots are much healthier and growing very nice. lmk if you have any questions.

Germinating in Rapid Rooters has done the best for me, by far.
They can be moved directly into their final destination after the roots start showing thru.
Touching the seeds only once and no transplanting is easy and effective.

I do hydro, but would do the same if using dirt.

It is best for beginners to sow direct to final pot.... 3 galln is about optimal, some growers on site have there shit dialed in and use larger pots... The above statement about stunting them do to a pot being to large is bull.. to small and transplanting are the two main culprits in stunting then next would be over feeding and low light. 80° and around 60% humidity is about rite... I prefer to sow to the final pot, it works well for most.

I had a run of bad luck with root plugs, they had these little parasites that were killing tender young roots. That's why I stick with medium in final pot.
