It says the "3 gallon equivalent" pot holds 2.2 gallons of soil and also says "less medium superior results" how's that work?

Sorry all I've used is plastic 3 and 5 gallon pots, got no experience with airpots but want to get enough to fill my 3 x 3 ft tent nicely under one 400w

Well I think it means you can get superior results using less medium Than a standard greenhouse pot...IMO
