Hey guys. Had a question about moving plant outdoors and indoors. My current situation is my power prices are sky high. I can't fully grow outdoors, even though living in the tropics would afford me of doing so all year round. What I would like to do is use lights at night, then have a rest period, lights, then early morning pop it outside for some free lighting. About a week before it starts to stretch or stink I'll go 100% indoors under 250w HPS.

My main question is should I give her direct sunlight, or partial shade. Early on should I use a humidity dome to protect from wind? Is there anything I may have to watch out for moving between the two environments?

Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im a noob but id say if uv had circulating air from a fan aslong as they don't go out in horrendous wind id say they should be okay. maybe introduce them to the outdoors start off hour or 2 and build up to reduce as much stress as possible. iv heard try to shade them from the hot mid day sun if your near the equator but theres no shade when grown indoors so maybe its more a temp thing.

all man the tropics .....i can only dream ...:stylez rasta smoke:...bugs would be my only concern and if the wind is crazy then yes early on i would protect them with the dome and shit man your the tropics humidity is probable high all the time anyway? and i would go for the shade if there still young :2cents:

Humidity is in the 70% range. I know it's not good for flowering, but veg it should be fine. I plan to have it indoors by time it's flowering to stop mold and rot.

I'll put it in the shade tomorrow morning, but at what stage should it start getting some direct sun light?

Thanks.
