Lighting is 250 watt cfl dual spectrum similar to 2x 125 watt with 2600k and 6500k, each?

hey,

i asked myself and searched everywhere in this forum and internet, what could a "dual spectrum" 250 esl light be comparable to.

with two single lamps, 2600k and 6500k each for vegitation and flowering with 250 watt each? is that the same as dual light with250 watt?

what would you prefer - the "two in one" solution, the dual spectrum, 250watt or the 250 watt each.

I would use the dual spec along withe the single spec bulbs depending on what grow faze your in.Veg stage= 6500k + dual spec, flower stage=2600k +dual spec.

You'll be fine growing with 250w dual spec cfl
As Nammy said, you'd be better off with a a veg bulb + dual spec, and when your vertical growth stops and you want to swtich to flower, change the veg bulb for a flower bulb.

I suspect you only have room for one of those 250wCFL with a reflector in your cab, and if your question is "would you be better off getting a veg AND flower bulb, and switching them out at the right time" the answer is probably yes.

But as i said the Dual Spec CFL will be fine.

I've used a 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum cfl on my two micro grows with very good results. My next grow I'd like to add a single "Blue" or "Red" on each side of my SuperBox.

My next grow is just going to be one Northern Lights. I'll have enough space to set up the lights on each side.

yes, that's nearly what i plan to do, also!! i start this first grow with 200 watt esl dual and the next month, when they start blooming i will give them 300 watt esl red spectrum extra.

i'm really excited about the the results. 5 autos on 0,7m2 with alltogether 5oo watt esl. wow!

i'm so happy !!!
all of my 5 seeds are germinated and they are doing well!

just that easy: i put the seeds directly in the soil - now water glass, no hankerchief, etc.
after 3 days, they are all here, now. after only 5 (!!!) days, i can already see the second leaves. i will send pictures, when there is something to see - why upping pictures when there's nothing to see but seedlings...don't want to bore you.
