Grow Room Is a 75W LED UFO light too big for a PC grow?

Thanks! :Cushty:
I won't use an air duct fan, but mind you, this wouldn't be my main grow. I've got a few ideas for the exhaust.
Odor control would be the main problem for me. I was looking into miniature activated charcoal filters some weeks ago, the chinese offer some interesting stuff on alibaba. Also very interesting are those charcoal "socks" ( don't know if you call em like that, but they look like socks ) that some people who sell complete micro grow boxes use.. Ever seen one of those?
Thanks again and good luck to you :tiphat:

Never seen them but if you find some information please post a link.

Picked up my full tower case today and stripped it bare.

Nice work on the CS, Plants are looking very healthy. Onwards and Upwards with your grow space, sending some karma :karma Cloud:Subbed:pop:

Hey thanks everyone appreciate the positive feedback.

Lowbudge I should be thanking you because your grows were the ones that inspired me to have a go at this micro caper. I also think of myself as a value for money type of person, so low budget suits my style. PC grows seem to produce more than enough weed for one person.

My CS treated plant is loving it outside but the flowers are still to open. Since I stopped spraying it the health has improved greatly and new foliage has no visible signs of damage. I have got hundreds of male flowers on it. More photos on the weekend.

My feminised Sweet Cheese has more or less stopped growing and the buds are getting bigger each day. Maybe another month or so to go I would say??? I am in no hurry to harvest her.

I've had no problems with a 100W/3W UFO LED in a 26" tall PC case. I do not germinate or put anything younger than 3-4 weeks in there typically, and they are always short auto varieties. I use a CFL veg box to rotate a plant in every month, and germinate in there also. There's simply no way the CFL's I have could touch the final yields the LED provides, it's crucial to reach my yield goal (1oz per plant, under 2ft tall).

I also find they do not burn/bleach etc.., unless literally pressed against the LED glass for a period of time (the tallest cola), and grow safely just inches away from it (I also blow an external mini-fan on the glass at all times when lights are on 18/6).

Here is the weeky update and some pictures of my CS treated Super Critical Auto showing its male flowers. There is a sneaky little bug in that last photo.
