Grow Room Is a 75W LED UFO light too big for a PC grow?

I have selected the 50W 2W 6 band light, so great minds think alike....................came down to price, available space and reduced liklihood of bleaching. Something else to add about the light, the light width is 175mm so it fits perfectly, on the down side, the electrical plug goes into the top of the light so you lose valuable space for this reason, it would be much better if it plugged into the side. Also, i've got to figure out how i am going to mount this to the top of the PC box yet, there are a few options but i dont want to cut any holes or screw anything into the top of the case.

Still working on my box. Have removed all internal bits and pieces and currently sealing the box to make it as air tight as possible. Next step is to spray paint the inside white, followed by figuring out how to mount my active carbon filter to my two exhaust fans.

I've ordered 4 x new 80mm fans. 2 x exhaust, 1 x intake and the last one i'm going to mount at the top of the box purely to circulate air.

Anyways, its been a great fun project to date and i got my tower case for free so that was a bonus.

I'm in the same boat with the PC Grow box. I got a little over zealous with my initial setup and ended up downsizing and being more realistic. Anyways I have been racking my brain trying to figure out the appropriate size LED for my build. I have spent 3-4 days reading and comparing that I dream in LED. I looked at the X21X Pro from HydroGrow and the 100W Blackstar and also the Kessil H150 and H350 and still can't come up with something. If anyone has any insight to this I would appreciate it. My pc box is 19"Lx9.5"Wx19"H

What are the measurements of the tower case you are using?

I'm in a similar boat. Those kessils look good but are fucking expensive. I think (may be wrong) but the blackstar would be overkill in a pc box. Whats the x21x you mention?? had a google and couldn't see anything. The culturelux m30 is another option, low budge pulled 60g from a pc case using one.

My tower case measurments are:
Height: 65 cm
Length: 40 cm
Width: 22 cm
I have bought my LED lamp from local growshop for ~130$. It's quite expensive but the only other choice was HPS...

I was on reddit under /r/microgrowery and some guy there used two of the 100W Blackstars in a PC case and got a nice yield so that's the way I'm leaning. The 21X Pro LED is at www.hydrogrowled.com I seen some good things but still uncertain. Kind of hard to believe what it can do but technology has come along way. I'll post my materials as they come in so everyone can see my set up also. Nice to see I'm not the only one going with this kind of set up.

So I decided to go with a 100w 6Band Blackstar UV LED for my PC grow. Here is my breakdown of materials

Blackstar 100w UV LED
Panda Film
2 half gallon fabric grow pots
2 120mm two speed fans
AcuRite Humidity/Temp monitor
Ona Block
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil
Fox Farm Trio nutrients
Cal/Mag (told LED lights can cause a deficiency)
Handmade LST/SCROG screen 1inch squares

I'll post pics starting tomorrow. NOt everything will be here tomorrow so I will show progress with everything I have currently.

naaahh 60g is correct, but I used 2 30W modules at the end, and had 3 ladies in there.
so If you would go for a single plant or maybe 2 you should be ok with a single module of 30W.

BUT!
now that I'm in my 3rd (4th) grow, I would(have) changed something.
for the first 2-3 weeks, I use a coldwhite CFL, got the feeling the ladies go to flower earlier.
dropped down from 28-35day at the BB to 28 at the TD and on the Cheese, I finaly reached flowering at day 18.
(for a regular grow, 28 days should be good to go, so you have lots of branches, but on a micro grow, I prefere getting into flower as fast as possible)

so what I found some days ago was a 40W solution.
I wrote a mail to the reseller and asked for some support to test those lights, but they didnt respond to it...
