New Grower Is pure honey good or bad for your plants?

Hey everyone,
I have been doing alot of reading on sick plants to try better my self at spotting problems and treating tham" i came across a post (cant remember if it was on this site or somewhere else) but on one hand i read about how good honey is for adding carbs and sugars" and then on the other hand i read that it will wipe out all the good bacteria in your soil.
I'm super confused now (which dont take much
If i could get some feed back and facts i'd be really grateful

I've heard that honey does have some beneficial qualities. However, I would go with organic blackstrap molasses (AKA black treacle) which is tried and tested stuff. I use it too.

You have to remember, though - everything in moderation. Other than in flowering (improved taste/smell) the benefits are mainly to the microbes in your soil. You don't need much even during flowering.

In theory honey should have some of these properties in that it feeds the soil which helps the plant's nutrient uptake and such.

the mollassess/honney isnt meant in full for the plant in itself but to feed the benneficial bacteria that colonate thu in which will help the plant processs food and make use of pathogens via breaking them down, bennies work in a symbolic relationship making the absortion of food require less energy they basicly sort it out for them,

the plant inturn will send them down food but mollasses is a good boost to help them and start them,
its used in bennie teas to feed them to colonate before you dose the plants up,

chemical feeds however will kill bennies off so renders it useless unless using organics of bennie safe food

however it does contain micro nutrients that the plant can absorb, your feed should provide everything you need k.i.s.s mollasses wont harm just dont use loads,

if u wana use it id consider brewing ewc teas with worm castings aloevera juice molasses and a shashet of mycrohiz
just to boost other breeds in,

I use bothi use local maine honey, becase it impart's natural histimine's to fight local allergy's
and I use mollasse's , derived from sugar beet's, because it has a higher content of mineral's and trace element's, than blackstrap"My 2 cents"
both feed the myco herd.

Do you guys that use honey ever have any problems with pests? I've never used honey myself before, but everything I read on it seemed to point to "and watch out for increased pest population," referring to honey being a great food source for crawling critters. Just curious if the real life application holds true from any of you that have actually tried it?

I only use honey the last week before flush, not really much it can be used for during growth besides a carb supplement, but i black strip molasses for that. I am a big advocate for using honey before our while flushing! I only use Raw honey! You can still see the honeycombs pieces in it!
And it will not wipeout the beneficial bacteria! I only use 1tsp per gallon that is not enough to wipout bacteria. Just don't use it every feed its not meant to be used all grow IMO

Ive personally had zero issues.did see an increase of gnats n a cpl flying bug dudes,but thew next time i drenched ,I used frass n gone.so I doubt it would be a huge issue in the cooler months imo.summer without frass or similar to quell any pest issue(s),could be an issue I suppose if left unchecked in an unclean tent.But with the use of frass Ive yet to have a serious pest issue n used the two together and heavier doeses once too.no problems.
