Looking at T5HO fixture based UVB lights to supplement the cobs which have no UV at all, in hopes that a little per day will increase resin. I realize there is some debate if UV is going to make a difference. So I want to try it for myself in a bit of a controlled test.

Local hydro shop said this is what he recommends. But the 8000K is super blue light which I thought was for veg not bloom. But he said this works for resin during bloom. I dont really trust the guy 100% so need some advice.

This is my only option so far, but I don't want to buy it if its a compromise. I'll keep hunting if this is not ideal.

Maybe something to compare it with:
Amazon product ASIN B01LYC0SSUI have seen this one mentioned several times by growers. Whatever you get, please be careful.

I thought the same way. Then I remembered i have a pair of full spectrum cob lights aka blurples. If im not mistaken, they have UV on them. So used them pair as side lighting. Been less than a week but liking what i see so far. Girls are getting heavier so this is a backup plan in case i can't carry each of them out for their daily 2 hour sun. Also make it so that i don't need to defoliate so much....but i still do [emoji29][emoji29][emoji29]

that light was recommended today actually. But I can't compare the specs. The vendors publish different specs so its hard to compare. I just need to know if the one I can get locally is legit for blooming. I would think it would be if they are going to bother to offer a UV light for growing. Who would want UV during veg? The spectrum spec is throwing me off.
