Is this girl making seeds or is something else wrong?

I had this female from seed of unknown origins, regular, not auto. It turned out definitely a female, so I even made 4 clones of her.
She was 3 months under 18/6. I had some autos at that time that I needed to finish. I was always clipping her "wings" to keep her short. After I harvested the autos, I switched her to 12/12.

She was flowering nicely but after switching to 12/12 two months ago, those flowers started to look weird.
Now she is 5 months old and I don't know what to do with her.

Those flowers look like seeds to me. I even found some seeds in there, but they are small, and most of them are small and hollow.

Do you think it grew undetected some male flowers because of a stress and then pollinated the female flowers? Or is it just some shitty strain? Or is this normal?
So far I grew only autos so I have no experience with "normal" growing. Any advice is welcome.

Namvet is correct, full of seed.

This happens some times with stress, especially if you are growing in a tent that has even the slightest light leaks. Some strains are more prone than others. You can still smoke what isn't seed but I wouldn't use those seeds for anything. You wouldn't want to have the same problem passed on in future generations.

Thanks for your replies.
I must admit I was letting in some light when I was watering them during their sleep or just checking on them. Do to a high temperatures during the days I let them sleep during the day and light period was during the night. Didn't realize the "peeking light" was that big of a deal. Lesson learned.

Should I cut them down now or wait little more? Does the plant lose potency (THC/CBD) the more the seeds mature?

Yeah you gotta be real careful with photos.. any light leaks can make them hermie like that. I would chop them down, you might be able to salvage some smoke but I would try hash if anything. Make sure you clean your room real good before the next run!

No, the plant won't loose thc the more the seeds mature. The plant is putting energy now into making seeds but if you allow it to mature you will get the most the plant can produce. Is it worth the extra time? I suppose it depends on if you have anything waiting to go in the tent. If nothing is waiting, let the trichs mature and enjoy what you have.

As for the light leaks, yes, very important with photos. Even the best tents have light leaks. Here is what I did when growing in a tent and what I suggest. Get some duct tape, turn the lights on in the room the tent is in, get inside your tent and zip it completely up. Tape any place you see light peaking through. Even the smallest pin hole. The seams at the corners where the tent is stretched over the rails is normally the worse places.

Best of luck with you future grows.

Thanks both of you for your advice. I'll be more careful with the light from now on. I've read that using green light shouldn't have any adverse effects, is that true? Or better no light at all?

Grateful Zach mentioned to clean the ream real good before next run? Is that because of possible pollen contamination? Or does the herm plant start producing the seeds even without the pollen just because of the stress? Sorry if it's a too stupid question. :)

 Hey Stan- residual pollen is the danger, so clean it out very well! ...corners, crevices, seems, these places can really trap stuff, so pay special attention to that,... LOL! Not a stupid questions bro',... good growing quickly becomes a class in basic botany, and there's plenty of basic info to learn! A seed is made only when successful fertilization is achieved; it takes a pollen grain (male part of the genome, like sperm) to make a seed; they are made inside the females' calyx (the pod shaped flower that the "hairs", or pistils, come out of), which wraps around the growing seed,... So yes, a hermie plant can certainly pollinate itself, (and any other "available" ladies!) if the odd male flower matures and opens, releasing the pollen grains... :cuss: LOL! ...learn, grow, learn, grow...

**ooops* -- yes, a green fluorescent or LED light will not be disruptive to the flowering cycle, and special bulbs made just for this are readily available...
