Is this just a textbook, run-of-the-mill CalMag issue?

Yoz,

I use the General Hydroponics MagiCal...it is 1-0-0. Seems there is talk around about one Cal/Mag product that is 0-0-0. not sure what nute line it belongs to.

Thanks to @MeefChief - I have the answer to that :woohoo1:

That looks like an over feed issue. I would flush your soil a little and give a few days of just plain water. If it was mag the colors of your leafs would be opposite of what they are. The vane would be green and the yellow would be on the leaf tissue between the vanes. The dark green looks like a high nitrogen issue except I don't see any claw yet so I could be wrong.

:smoking:--Yoz, I was just telling another patient about GO CaMg+! ..all carbonate based, and in a fermented sugar base-- it's my choice for 3 years now-
... nothing to do about the N-tox, it's in there now,...but backing off to minimal N inputs (like most bloom nutes have) will help force them to tap into internal reserves, and you want that for sure! ..excess N at harvest can have poor funky flavor!...you'll know as bloom continues and finishes, watching how the fans fade out,..ideally, you want your girls finishing face-first, looking haggard in the leaves-- that means they've really used up their stashes inside, and the soil/medium has been cleared and depleted during your final cleansing, several days of nothing but water before harvest,....
...all you can do during veg' is watch your N inputs and the leaf color for signs, keeping in mind different strains will have variable color,.. Indie's tend to be richer green, sati's lighter, hybrids- good luck! In your case, it's pretty mild, so don't sweat it now! ---yes, that damn 4-0-0 AN Ca-Mg!

I have some GO cal/mag for emergency's. Its a good product. The nitrogen is low enough that as long as your not N toxic at bloom it works just fine. If I just have a mag problem I use Epsom salt. Can also top dress lightly with bone meal in bloom as a source of calcium and P. If you do that though you might want to skip a few feedings of bloom.
