Lighting Is This LED Panel Good for a 60 by 60 cm tent?

I say keep at it with the flouros...but you might want to change your type of flouro....lots of the screw in CFL type are not very efficient compared to some other kinds of flouros....

personally I'd trade in my Mars 300 for more T5 2fters in a heartbeat.

Get a Mars II 400w (2x2) or if you're looking for something a little on the high yielding side, get a Mars II 1200w.
Order directly from their site for a better deal than Amazon

Thank you so much

A few clarifications:
1. What do you mean by (2x2)?
2. How much electricity does the two models draw?
3. Is it blue and red only?
4. Is Mars a US brand? If so, do they have a site in the EU? If not, Ebay.co.uk is my only alternative.
I can't order from the US. I will have to pay vat - that's ok.I would pay the vat with a smile. But what is not ok is that the Post Office charges the bloody fee of $36 for collecting then vat.

Thank you in advanced.

Best wishes,
Doc

1. Well, Mars Hydro claim that the light can cover intensely at 2 feet by 2 feet.
PERSONALLY, I own 2 Mars II 400w and they're alright lights.. not the best spectrum, etc.. but they get the job done. I've had them for over 6 months and still haven't encountered any problems with my diodes or the light
2. Eh, 177watts. If you want to calculate your bill, then go here: http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/electricity-calculator.htm
Doesn't cost much honestly, I would say each light will add $15 to your bill every month.
3. Blue, red, infrared, and white light.
4. Mars is a Chinese brand honestly, but they do have facilities in the US and also facilities in the EU. So you can basically order worldwide.

I am looking at ebay uk. My price limit is £100 = $145. For Mars, that's not with in the budget, as far as I can see.

Here are a few models for my budget. But I dont want low quality. The led I choose have to be significantly better than my 250W CFL lamps. The reason I want a led is that I can run veg and flowering in both tents, one running with cfl and the other on led. If none of the leds on the list below gives better yields than cfl, I can my two more 250W cfls, veg and flower spectra, respectively, for the same amount of money.

Yes, get the Mars 600W LED. It's a nice light honestly. It can be compared to the Mars II 400w IMHO.

Will it give good buds?

Hard buds, not fluffy?

High end LED's contain whites, infrareds, and also differing ends of the red and blue spectrum, so much so that some reds in my lights almost look orange.

My buds are rock hard everytime, no matter what strain I grow.

Seems the only time they get a bit fluffy and squidgy is if they're under watered

£100 is not enough to finance a decent led imo though. Surely HPS would be a better option? Way more lumens for your money
