Hi folks,

I have been trying to get 3 Think Different plants to grow and they just seem to reach 4-5 weeks and fail.

My first 2 refused to autoflower or something, they remained immature and pretty much ill looking. Thin growth and the leaves were small and stragly.

My third one was going so well till the other day, the leaves are huge or should I say were. Within 3 days they turned from a healthy green to what you see...

I have been using Plageron lighmix, plain water for the first 3 weeks and then some BioBizz Grow. 1ml per litre, moved to 2ml pl.

I wait till the soil is relatively dried out, poking my finger in the soil a few inches to see... usually it's dry enough that no soil sticks to my finger when I remove it. Although the soil is not completely dried out and brittle.

At 4 weeks, I added 1 heaped tea spoon of epsom salts to 2 ltrs of water. My tap water is about 7.3 when it comes out, after 4-5 days of sitting out it goes to about 8. With nutes this goes down to about 6.3.

I just checked the PH of the run off and it's 6.3. Temps get no higher than 80f and no less than 68f when lights are out. I have 1 400w HPS dual spectrum.

Check the pics out and let me know what you think.... any help would be great.

It looks like phos defficiency.Try flushing and add some cal-mag and nutes that cotain nit, phos, pottasium along wiith the micro nutes.Make sure your your ph pen is calibrated right and recheck your PH.It will take awhile to work so I hopethis works for you.

Hello,

thanks for the reply.

I had this a couple times with my grows and I have no idea what is causing it. I have a decent ph pen and it's calibrated using both ph7 and ph4 solutions and it's bang on.

I am using BioBizz which is organic and I was told on here before my last account went missing that I shouldn't ph the water as it kills the microlife. I stopped doing that for this grow, the plants do look like they have had a better start without using chemicals to balanace ph but I've hit the same issues you see at about the same stage (4-5 weeks).

I have the following nutes/extras but going to shop for some cal-mag.

BioBizz Grow
BioBizz Bloom
BioBizz Fishmix (never used, just got it to try during mid grow)
Plageron Guano
Epsom Salts
Molasses (organic unsulphured)

I guess the Plageron lightmix is pretty much nuteless so deficiencies are pretty easy to come across.

I'm so pissed off, the TD was massive and now it looks like a weeping tree out of Sleep Hollow!

Hey ocssor, i have used Biobizz with TD and had the same thing happen, apparently it is low in Mag, hence the need to add some epsom salts. I add at a ratio of ¼ tsp per liter for about two too three feeds. Also the plagron has only about two weeks food, so perhaps you could start with a light feeding at the end of week two, say ½ml grow. Good luck with the rest of your grow.

Hey Hazy,

thanks for replying.

I'm going to order more seeds, ordering a bottle of Plant Magic Magne Cal+ and more Plageron soil. I'm so pissed that I don't even want to keep the plant going to try save it, it's a waste of time and might as well start again.

I don't think that the epsom salts had enough effect, it was added at the right time, before any issues were seen but I know that lightmixes really need a dose about the 4th week. I fed it epsom salts for 2 feeds, just over a week later the issues appeared. I got the epsom salts of ebay so who knows, might be bunk stuff.

At least I know what the issues could be, at least the electricity company will be pleased.

Hey bud stay positive, this could be a positive thing.:booya:Make this grow a learning experience, and see if you can fix the issues with her, before you cut her down. Great way to get some experience under your belt, knowing to fix a plant.:smokebuds: Just my :2cents: Hope you decide to keep her alive and great luck in your future grows.
