Grow Mediums Is this too early for nutes

flynfish welcome to the wonderful world of coco you should start feeding from day 1 I use canna A+B I mix up a ltr at a time my feeds are 1 ml liquid silica,4 ml rhizotonic,and 1 ml Canna A+B(each) ph'd to 5.8 at first each plant gets 250 ml of water just around the plant stem as you want your tap root to burrow to the bottom of your pot when the coco looks dry on top water again I feed every time with coco I started 2 girls they are 11 days old now and just upped there feed to 1.5 ml A+B per ltr of water hope that helps

I just had some nube telling me that you have to go at least two weeks before feeding in coco. Why is this such a common mistake? My guess is it is so similar in texture to soil, people want to treat it like soil.

How I see it is one thing might work for one strain and not another so your nute intake will be different from grow to grow check if your strain loves the nutes or not some do some don't, as to watering when they are bigger I like to 1 day water to runoff to stop any build up and next day water till no run of mine now have 4 liters ones day and 2 liter the next might give you a ruff idea, one more thing I got told for when they are slightly bigger more is less when it comes to watering with coco it's actually quite hard to over water in coco (to an extent) hope that helps

If you run the Flora trio, use the transition formula from the start of bloom, until the end of the stretch. That way you are stimulating lots of bud sites, but not sacrificing structure. It is key to high yielding big plants.

@Hal 8999 some people get set into there ways lol I've seen people start them them day 1 on 3.5ml per litre and go onto going as high as 7ml per litre canna A&B like I say it all depends on strain

If you do a mild amount constantly, you get the benefit of fresh nutrients constantly. You also decrease the chance of nutrient burn greatly. You do have to have a slight run off constantly after the first month, if done that way. Nutrient build up is no joke.

I understand set in your ways, but if you are new to something you do not have ways. Whenever I have seen people go that long without feeding autos in coco, they finish fast and tiny.

Coco works excellent in a wick system also. That is one you have to do plain water with at times.

Is there a nute system out there that would cover most of the need for multiple bottles. Reason I ask is my flora kit is almost polished off and would rather deal with a couple bottles instead of a shelf full. Thanks
