Hi . I am just starting my first real grow. Real because my only other grow was accidental albeit exciting and informative. Anyway, this time around it's intentional and I'm attempting to do it the right way. Google has directed me many places on my quest for knowledge, and many of those places are forums. I've been lurking! AN is the only forum I've seen where the members seem to be all around pleasant and helpful instead of in a lot of instances rude and down right mean, so this is the place for me. I've never quite understood why people insist on being rude. .... Anyway, I planted an automatic jack herer seed 3 days ago. Decided to just germ in my final pot to keep it simple. She is showing herself today!

Thanks for the welcome! I actually did start a journal this AM, but I haven't the foggiest idea how to link to it . I'm still trying to get the hang of this forum setup. It's in the indoor growing section under automatic jack herer. I have been looking at a primal plant food and organic root drench by mineralised gardens that had the volcanic ash and a lot of other goodies from what I can see. Not planning on doing anything but watering these first couple weeks, but looking ahead. Do you have any experience with or every heard of the mineralised gardens stuff?

I do not have any experience with it.. Have you checked their website for a feeding schedule?

Yes. It honestly seems a lot more simple and less complicated to me compared to a lot of what I see other growers using . From their website...Primal Plant Food is a blend of volcanic rock powders. It will supply your plants with nearly the whole periodic table of elements. To this we have included biostimulant carbons such as seaweed powder and humates. Last but not least, live soil microbes are added to help digest these rock powders and colonize plant roots.
