Its starting to spread!

A lot of the problems I have and have seen other people haveing with the wizard 8 is the soil has to be moist enough for it to work properly.

I haven't experienced that...mine takes accurate moisture and pH readings in dry soil.

Well, poop. After all that huffing and puffing about the accurate 8 i think mine is misreading things a little low. Stuck it in my 6 month cook TLO soil that got heavily limed and it came out to 6.0, hmmmm. Added plenty more lime and oyster shell, 5.9, hmm. Stuck it in pre-bagged soil of two kinds, 6.0-6.3, hmm. Stuck it in a wet bag of dolomite lime, 6.4, Ah-Ha! It's reading low. I left it outside in the cold shed all winter, so it could have knocked it out of calibration. Nothing is perfect.
