I decided to harvest the Jock Horror AF last night because of an infestation of fungus gnats in the soil medium of the other plant that was sharing the tent. I killed the baby Northern Lights AF because of this. It's now time to clean, clean, clean!
The Jock Horror AF is rather small, but I'll post some pictures later today or this evening. She didn't have much of a smell while growing, but the second I put a blade to her she gave off a very pungent odor...for us gardening type people that pungent smell is a well known odor. I like it...my wife - not so much!
I did a cursory trim job, certainly not perfect, but most (if not all) will go towards tincture anyway. I can't smoke or vape for a few months because of a lung issue. However, I'm eagerly learning the art of tincture making. So far, it's working and working well. I use gelatin capsules and an eyedropper; with the tinctures I've made recently, I fill and take four capsules for a good high that lasts about 5 hours. Lately, I take four capsules when I get off work and I'm set for an evening of enjoyment.
I would never have tried making a tincture if not for this lung problem. When I first found out I was not going to be able to smoke or vaporize for several months my mind actually started to panic slightly. Finding this method of inducing cannabis really makes things easier for me. Sorry for rambling...I took four capsules about an hour ago.
This whole plant will be made into tincture! First time I've ever done that.
