You could use white paint ..just as reflective as Mylar.saw a few peeps post about it....plus only 5 bucks at the habitat store..when you look through grower eyes everything becomes a grow tool LOL. I about to reuse a old shower for a grow room..and the more led lights get eficient one day ill be able to use solar panels and wind to grow off the grid..maybe a semi trailer in the woods with pannels on top of it lol....one day ..:toke:

I've been looking into solar panels for about 3 yrs. now. :p As for the white paint, got the mylar coming next week. I ordered 4 mylar blankets for only $4.10 off of Amazon. Not bad, considering the rolled mylar is WAY more expensive and is the same stuff. I look at it this way, human kind will eventually kill themselves over something utterly stupid and I have the Rocky Mountains practically in my backyard. I'll just slide into them and disappear with my seeds and knowledge of living off the land. :p I've got all the things needed to clone photo's, just need to grow one. :p I have a Blue Rhino seed (fem), just haven't got the room in my current grow area to get it started. I ordered 2 Afghan Skunks yesterday (photo's) and got a Cheese freebie (all fem). I'm getting ready to rock and roll here as soon as I get my new grow area finished!!!!

LOL u sound like me:clap: ....i want to be OFF THE GRID..i try to stay away from chains as much as possible and buy things that are had made by locals if i can ..its so ez to fix the economy ..just buy from peeps near u that make shit and the money stay close to home not china and wont fall apart in a week.also im a thrift shopping bandit..lol and a deal ninja..something about paying full price for something that was made by a kid for 2 dollars just erks :hot:me lol..i also want to look into algae reactors im hearing good things about them.

kat start to finish, you got sound advice. happy green growing to you.

@ stoking, Thanks, may all your buds be tight and fat!!! I'm not so sure my advice is sound (I think I'm a bit crazy, actually :p), but I live, like all of us do, day to day.
@ doobie, Yeah, but look at us, ordering things online, here in a forum, again, online. Wouldn't we all be in a world of hurt if we couldn't hook up with like minded people if things went to shit? Something to think about, isn't it? Me, I don't want to spend the rest of my life hanging out with just myself and my dogs. I'd rather be self sufficient and still have the web as company. I would never have found a better place for like minded people in RL. Not like I'm gonna run up and down the street screaming I grow pot, anybody like me here? ROFLMAO!!!!

Meant on them blankets, and several other things posted.

As for crazy, arent we all?

i was almost off grid once living off the land, before i became disabled...im slowly gettin back at it, but from another direction it appears. knowledge is power! learn to hunt, fish(w/ whats at hand not a rifle and a pole), build shelter, make fire from nothin, sow seed and protect your garden...and thats just the basics. st1d rambling...hehehe

Darlin, I'm old enough to remember life BEFORE there was even a grid!!! You know, no computers, everyone worked, no one slacked, neighbors helped each other, hunting was a necessity (least where I grew up, which was 5 miles from the Canadian border in Vermont), fishing was taught at a very early age (I was 3 when lessons began) and family stuck together no matter what. I don't like guns of any kind, that's why I have dogs and a K-bar. :p I can hit a deer's heart at 75 yards with a bow and arrow (not the compound things they make today). I could, very easily, live without modern machinery. Like most people, I just don't want to be alone. Anyhow, LOVE this site and it's people!!! :D
