Sorry this is off track. But I'm moving my whole grow room tomorrow and resetting it up...I'm debating on using my nice nifty tents or using the 8x9 room itself as a whole lol. But I can only cover like 1/3 of the sq. Foot with the lights I have now. If I add the light in looking at I'll have half the room covered. I'm just debating if I'd get better results with a more open setup
Seeing yours all open just made me think about it lol
Tents allow you to keep bugs out and control the environment.. Humidity heat cold etc etc

Smaller setups are definitely easier to control but if your room is somewhat tight you should be fine. I notice that in my bigger room the plants definitely bush out more. In my small room they are definitely in much tighter and It seems that if they get constricted they will only grow to the open space for the most part. Plus it is much easier to work on them. Idk it almost feels like they have room to take their natural form. You wouldn't have to take the plants out to take pics of them either lol. I have a stand up ac, 6in exhaust fan, humidifier and an environmental controller that makes my life easier. I'd say go for it.

The only downside might be the reflective material in your room or lack there of. I like semi flat white paint myself but I also put up some reflective material in my room. Mostly because it was free lol. Put a little co2, a lawn chair and away you go
