I have been hearing from a lot of older growers. That the autos buzz don't last along time so they are junk weed. I am not saying this is anyway true I am only asking due to the fact this is my first grow of autos. I am happy to try growing them but all I hear is negative things about them. I have fast and vast growing now and they are at 46 days now.

You know what you can tell em? Bullshit.

I have long time growers going crazy over my latest grows. My last grow of Big Buddha Blue Cheese Auto is currently my all time fav of any strain I have even tried! I am anticipating the Mephisto current grow will come out even better.

The problem is people are associating autos with old time 20 year ago Ruderalis plants. They don't know that things have changed and changed fast. Those same old timers will tell you LED is a waste as well. Not on this forum!

I said the same thing to them about how they have came a long way since they first came out.

Well it's true they might not have the highest percentage of thc but they are plenty strong and lasting. Over time you will build a tolerance to anything if you are constantly doing it. so let's say you smoke a stain over 25% thc all the time for a year okay. Now you grow an autoflower that only has 19%thc. Since you are so use to the more potent bud you would think it was a lesser and it is. So it all depends on your tolerance level.

My best buddy here in town is an old time grower from the Emerald Triangle days who was taught by his older brother who has moved on to the garden in the sky. He just couldn't get his head around it that these little plants could be good. Now he is like, "I'm going to do a full run of autos!". He did a complete turn around but it was not until he could see/smell/taste. I'd say he is pretty indicative of most "old time growers".

Rubbish per the old growers.

There wouldn't be an AFN if such was true. Those growers enjoy debasing autos and anyone else that tests their superior competency and broad knowledge base. They are likely the ones who pee on plants for N.

We don't take kindly to that kind of auto flower defamation--lol.

Grow them you will enjoy the quick turn around.

Have you been reading Nico E's High Times Blog??
I've found the many autos I've grown (often next tent over from high test photo grows) to be as good as, and sometimes better than, photo strains They each have their pros and cons, but the auto genetics have made Quantum strides, and in a very short timeframe.

Respect to Nico... He "found AFN", recently!

Oh I'm growing them for sure lol. I can't wait to have them try it. I have gorilla glue #4 also and that's the strain there really interested in.
