Outdoor Late outdoor grow

Ive thought about that, but the ability to move them indoors seems like a pretty big bonus also, around here it can drop to 10 degrees for a day or two and then have 70s again for weeks before winter hits.

I suppose there is the option of planting in ground, and if necessary, digging plant up and potting it in a large pot, not sure how much that would stress the plant, if you take a fairly large rootball when pulling it up. Anyone have any experience doing this?

I think if I get a small tomato green house thing the temps will stay a few degrees warmer, as long as I keep the ventilation up that is.
i don't fancy planting and digging up the plant, all I've read about autos is that that hate stress of any kind. I don't think I'll end up with much bud anyway so don't wanna risk it.

Quick question for you guys that know a lot more than me. I was gonna give the ladies a water tonight with there first bit of feed, then this morning the heavens open and we had about 45mins of heavy rain. Should I not give them a feed now as they've had plenty of water? I don't wanna leave it too long before I get them into a nute schedule. Cheers guys

This is after the First Lady sprouted

Hey Keenbutcher, I would go very easy with nutes in your grow if any. Rapid growth is much more mold susceptible and that is going to be your biggest issue. You may loose some size but if it ends moldy you will loose even more. Just my 2 cents.

Ive got a 50 gal steel barrel cut in half that Im going to put over it, Ill top it and LST to keep it low and just throw the cover on at night. Its painted white inside so should work, depending on how extreme the temps get at least.

Ye cheers oldster, I'm gonna use 1/4 the recommended the amount, I've found a thread on here ex planting a schedule for biobuzz nutes, which is what I've got. Hopefully I won't get any burn, I guess I'll have to just let the plants tell me if they are happy or not. It's all a learning curve I guess! Lol
