@LaughingHyenaSeeds , I'll get some pics before I bring her down this evening.

Some final pics before the chop. I did run into some moldy buds, but that's my fault for not having better air movement.

Shes hanging now. Funny thing, when I pulled her out of the tent, every branch bent down from the weight.

I cannot wait to see how it cures, right now it has a nice melon smell and I hope it sticks around.

Smoke report/review

Bananalope from Laughing Hyena is a well-rounded strain that checks a lot of boxes for both growers and consumers. With a grow period of about 88 days, it strikes a nice balance between speed and yield, making it easy to plan around. From a cultivation standpoint, it’s very beginner-friendly—low-maintenance, forgiving, and particularly responsive to LST (low-stress training). Even new growers should find it manageable without much hassle.

On the flavor side, Bananalope offers a subtle, almost refreshing hint of melon that lingers on the palate. It’s not overpowering but gives just enough uniqueness to stand out from more generic strains.

The effects lean toward the mellow and calming side. It delivers a smooth, relaxing high that’s perfect for winding down at the end of the day, watching a movie, or simply kicking back. It’s not overly sedating, so you can stay functional while still enjoying that deep sense of ease.

If you’re a new grower looking for a strain that’s easy to manage and rewarding to grow—or a consumer searching for a gentle, soothing smoke with a faint fruity twist—Bananalope is worth checking out. It’s approachable, enjoyable, and reliable both in the garden and in the session.
