I noticed a few little holes in a few leaves alone with a few yellow splotches here and there on leaves. Mostly on older growth but nothing on new growth. I am growing in a 50/50 mix of FFOF and HP. I am not using nutes yet. I have not used sledgehammer to flush salt yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Temp did get up to 91 today in tent after trying 600 watt HPS at 100%.
And here is the plant as she looks from a distance... healthy LOOKINGSURFBOARD - WIN_20140418_190213.jpg

I have a bit of a time seeing them holes except in one of the pictures.

Are your leaves laying in the dirt? You should put more dirt in them buckets, tnen put the plants in. you kind of want theme to grow higher than the lip of the bucket, but still have about an inch to the top so you can water easy enough.

If it's old growth, don't panic yet. But do use caution.

With that being said, your leaves could be dragging in the water/mud/dirt. and that could be some of the prob, I seen the whitish kind of blob on one leaf? Not sure what that is. But I do see more random spots as well. Make sure you have a eyeglass for seeing pest as well, you need to be able to check for them, especially with the warmer weather coming up. Check on the bottom sides of the leaves as well as the top.

There are a lot of things that could cause blemishes, but keep an eye on it getting better or worse, and keep us informed.

Other's who have an exact account of your issue may be along as well to give some advice.

Peace

Eek

Thanks Eek. Leaves are not in the dirt at all. I plan on fill the pots a little higher with dirt ao thanks for that suggestion as well. I have a magnifying glass as well as trycome magnify glasses. I will look closer with one or both of those. As far as I could tell, this happened since last night! as u can see, plant I believe looks great otherwise, in my opinion.....first grow...lōl

Can't see the first photo. I too grow in a hot/dry environment. It is important to have good air flow--I may over do it with so many fans. Your plant's leaves have the appearance of a day with minor heat stress--not bad--unless very consistent. Canna growth shuts down in the upper 80s to protect themselves. Transpiration is effected---interesting topic---http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transpiration

Tiny holes are likely just wear and tear. Seems a bit early for any bugs etc.

One way to keep plant cool and provide some RO is to water the top soil when dry (a cup or two of water) and spray plant with a mist stream of water--I PH just to be on the safe side. You can mist until flowers really get rolling. When the plant starts flowering the water intake increases as does the transpiration and some heat/RO issues seem to calm down.

At three weeks the roots have taken hold and very low nutes could be introduced. Will yield to the soil growers in this respect.

Thanks for the input. I use only PH'ed water. I also have a large oscillating fan in the tent with her for airflow. I also figured it would help her cola grow strong and fat....which it has. I do not have a sprayer/mister yet. I will add that when my temps soared yesterday, my humidifier was also on contributing to the heat...so maybe the leaves got wet and burned...not sure.
All of this is so new that I am sort of clueless, even after the hundreds of hours reading I have done. I will keep an eye on her and keep you all posted. I appreciate everyones input and the more the merrier. It is great to have doctors to speak with when your baby is sick.
Keep it up guys! I hope I can gain half of your knowledge

So I used my trichome magnifying glasses today and did not see any critters on the leaves or stems.
I believe my issue was heat....I had the humidifier blowing hot steam into the air, the light turned up to 100%and temps rose to 91degrees.
I am going to monitor the situation and I will keep you all posted.
Thanks to all the doctors monitoring my issue
Added more soil and moistened up the soil so hoping all will stay healthy
