Indoor LED or HPS ????????

Iv done two hps grows before just wanting to know peoples thoughts on what is better hps or led?


i know there are going to be arguments for both sides but convince me

Do you have the room to do both? I've never done LEDs, but would like to do a comparative grow and see for myself

well i was thinking of this and possibly doing both side by side identical setups apart from lights but could not afford atm :stoneslap:

Lots of side by side grows have already been done and in everyone I've seen, the LEDs have come out on top. I started with HPS and switched to LEDs mainly because of the reduced heat. For me it made the difference on being able to grow or not. Temps were hitting 102 in my small space with a 400 watt HPS. Since switching to a 280 watt LED, temps are 85 max.
