Lighting led prices

If the data is accurate on their site it doesn't look too bad.

660w for a ppfd of 909. To compare an unreflected 1000w Hortilux eye is 1798. Based on their numbers, they're running ~35% efficiency. Better spread plays a large part, but the light itself is less efficient than HPS.(42%)
Check out the se-450 by Amare. Cree 3070 cobs and Cree monochromes surrounding the cobs. Besides efficiency this panel is built so nice. Aluminum frame and even stainless steel hardware. The warranty is 5 years and the owner is brilliant. Quick to reply with all data needed and friendly as can be

so far it's superior to my 1000w hps I can tell you that. Without a doubt. Better and more even coverage and because it's only 6 inches from the canopy the light penetration is INCREDIBLE. Secondary bud points are looking GREAT. I'm doing a journal because I think I am the only member with one.

Lol and the next led I'm buying is 75watt and £330..confusing isn't it. Buddy it's all down to the quality... You get what you pay for.. But be careful not to be ripped off... Check the LED growing section to see the lights that have been proven to work. There's some great stuff out there:Sharing One: Best of luck
there is no section called "LED growing section"

Solor storm prices are way to high and there are more companies that also are over priced.I think they work on high percentage profit and not by volume.I have found that Grow Northern has good prices and quality units.
grow northern has currently no units to buy so idk how amazing they are, going to a grocery store "no we have no food for you today in fact you have to go hungry for about 60 days" great store

Only issue with amare is price tag. But definitely not a bad choice if you want all the features. You can get a bit more bang for your buck with simple cob fixtures.
With the 20% off deal it's priced pretty damn good. Usually cobs and advanced LED lights are around 2-2.50 per wall. The Amare lights are on the low end of that and I think the most advanced of all.

They are a small, recently started company, run by guys just like us. cut them some slack! And I hear they may be putting together some nice kits for DIY. Email them and ask for an availability date for the light your interested in.

Grow Northern Make fantastic lights , the HS1 is not in production currently, they are a boutique manufacturer of well made lights using innovative technologies.
There have been many fantastic Grow Norther grows in the forums, you might want to check TaNg's grows which showcase how Grow Northerns lights can produce.
Just be sure that when they do release their next light it will be a corker.
