i have seen you can lower ph with these. Why would somebody pay for a ph product instead?

White vinegar is working for me, dropping my 7.5 to 5.8 by using around 20ml to 10 litres.
Plants responding well.

Thank you, my ph is also high (London water) I am using biobizz products, I might try that method on one plant and see how it goes.

I use organic/homemade apple vinegar and I guees I add less than 5ml per 5L. Just a pinch.

Is there a reason why people pay a premium for ph up and down stuff? Maybe accuracy?
I am growing in soil, I imagine hydroponics needs accuracy which maybe answers my question

I think it's more stable for long run. But if you mix nutes and water within 1 hour, you'll be fine with cheap vinegar.

Right I will do one plant today, should I mix the nutes an hour after the vinegar has been added?

First add nutes. Then check your pH (in soil 6.2 - 6.8). If necessary then add vinegar to drop pH.
Cycle your pH. One watering lets say you use pH 6.3, other watering you use pH 6.8, third watering pH 6.5.

thanks will do that today. I have one problem plant and i am thinking of giving it one dose of yorkshire spring water, its on offer at my supermarket today £2. 50 for 8 litres!

I have not found a bottled water that is under ph7.0
Just use your tap water that has been sitting in a bucket over night. The adjust your ph down with vinegar.
I just watched my plants start booming within a few days of doing this.
